Mickelson shoots 66 to move within three

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- We know Phil Mickelson has a chance to win this Players Championship after his Saturday 66 moved him to within three shots of the lead.

We know where he's headed for his post-round meal: Five Guys Burgers, where he unabashedly admitted he's eaten the first five nights this week.

What we don't know is whether Mickelson is relishing the thought of moving to the top spot in the world ranking, something he has a chance to do if he wins and Tiger Woods finishes outside the top five (Woods shot a second-consecutive 71 and is eight shots off the lead).

"I don't know why you keep asking about that. I mean, we're right in the middle of a tournament here. That's the last thing on my mind right now," Mickelson said.

Perhaps, but it is a reality nonetheless after Mickelson moved to nine under and now has the luxury of sitting back and watch the leaders contend with stifling heat and crusty greens.

"I feel like things started to click a little bit today, and I've got one more low round in me," Mickelson said.

As for his eatery of choice, Mickelson sounded like he was looking to lock up a Five Guys endorsement deal, if he hasn't already.

"This will be my sixth day in a row," he said. "I grew up on In-N-Out. I thought that was the best burger until I had Five Guys. That is hands downt he best burger I've ever had."
