Tiger Woods will play with a couple of fellow major championship winners when play starts Thursday at the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, N.C. Woods will be joined by Angel Cabrera and Stewart Cink, the winners of last years Masters and British Open, respectively, when he tees off at 7:40 a.m. in the first round.
On Friday, the threesome will play at 12:50 p.m., meaning much of their second round will be televised on the Golf Channel. There has been no word from Cink yet on the Twitter front.
For Woods, this will be his first event following his return to professional golf at the Masters earlier this month. He is also in the field for next week's Players Championship.
Woods has played at Quail Hollow four times, finishing no lower than T-11 and winning the event in 2007.
