The Local Knowlege

Where are your priorities, Ryo?

Just kidding. They seem to be in the right place. Japanese golf star Ryo Ishikawa won't play in the WGC-CA Championship next week, though he's qualified to do so. He has returned to Japan for his high school graduation in Tokyo on Monday, according to this Associated Press report.

Ishikawa, 18, is No. 37 in the World Ranking. He will return to the U.S. to play in the Transitions Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in the run-up to the Masters.
