TAMPA BAY, Fla. -- With a potential rainstorm forecast for late Sunday afternoon in the Tampa Bay area, PGA Tour officials have decided to move up the start time of the final round of the Transitions Championship to 7:45 a.m. (EDT), and send golfers off the first and tenth tees.
Unless there's a playoff, the tournament should end around 3 p.m. instead of its regularly scheduled finish around 6 p.m. The tournament will be tape-delayed broadcast on NBC from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
