Tabloid media and security are out en masse at the TPC Sawgrass and the Marriott Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., in advance of Tiger Woods' appearance at the the former on Friday, Gary Smits is reporting in the Florida Times-Union.
"Tabloid outlets including Entertainment Tonight and TMZ were at the Marriott Thursday [and] poking around the TPC clubhouse, watched carefully by private security and St. Johns County sheriffs officers," Smits wrote.
The public ordinarily is allowed inside the clubhouse at the TPC, but will be shut out on Friday morning, according to the story.
