Finchem postpones press conference until Wednesday
Finchem, however, has pushed the press pow-wow back to tomorrow, after a meeting with players this afternoon to discuss the situation. What may come of that meeting? It's difficult to discern at this point, however possible talking points may be Ping CEO and chairman John Solheim's comment yesterday that he was open to a "workable solution" to the situation.
Padraig Harrington, who is practicing with a pair of Ping Eye 2 wedges and may use them this week at the Northern Trust Open, also had an option. "I'd like to see players have a charter where we acknowledge that although it is legal to use these clubs under the rules, that we all agree not to play with them."
