The Palm Beach Post's gossip columnist, Jose Lambiet, was rather unkind in his assessment of the new 9,700-square foot house Tiger Woods is building on Jupiter Island in South Florida.
The headline: "Is that a new Motel 6 on Jupiter Island? No, it's Tiger Wood's new crib."
Lambiet wrote: "It's a cross between a discount motel and a beachside nursing home!"
There is even a poll asking: Is Tiger Woods' new home too ugly for Jupiter Island. My vote: No. It looks fine from this vantage point, and given that it won't be seen from the highway, what difference does it make anyway?
With nearly 5,000 votes cast, incidentally, yes was leading with 59 percent.
