Northern Ireland prodigy Rory McIlroy reportedly was going to join the PGA Tour in 2010, which would have been a blow to the European Tour. Now it has been reported that he will forgo joining the PGA Tour and will remain in Europe.The Times reports:
"'Rory has decided not to join the PGA Tour in 2010,' his agent Chubby Chandler said in an e-mail to SportsBusiness Journal in the US. He did not provide any further explanation."
