Did Tiger leave $2 million on the table?

That's what an Australian newspaper, the Daily Telegraph, is reporting. It wrote that Woods declined an offer of $5 million to play in the Australian Open in Sydney, instead opting for a $3 million offer to play in the Australian Masters in Melbourne.

If so, why? "It was never about the money. It was about the quality of the presentation and the greater vision for golf in this country," a source told the newspaper.
