Blogger Geoff Shackelford wrote yesterday that the $23 million spent to upgrade Harding Park resulted in "a functional but ultimately disappointing...redesign." I have no opinion on the matter (having never seen the course), but offer this up as a counterpoint, from Stewart Cink on Twitter (note: he wrote "beat" though no doubt he meant "best"):
"First practice round today at Harding Park. Great course. I believe it's the beat Municipal I've ever played. Torrey Pines 2nd."
