Ian O'Connor, columnist for the Bergen Record in New Jersey, reports that Tiger Woods' off-the-cuff review of Liberty National, site of the Barclays, was not a favorable one. He writes:
"According to Sanjay Jha, a Motorola executive and one of three amateurs who played with Woods on Wednesday, Tiger took time out of their five-hour loop to joke, 'Maybe Tom did this course before his eye operation.'"
Kite wore thick eye glasses before undergoing LASIK surgery in 1998.
Woods was more diplomatic on the record when asked his thoughts about Liberty National in a news conference.
"It's interesting," Woods said.
"In a good way?" Tiger was asked.
"It's interesting," he said.
