The Local Knowlege

And the beat goes on

Form prevailed for Ricky Barnes and David Duval, whose travails before and after each tied for second in the U.S. Open was recounted here.

Both are going to miss another cut, this time at the Wyndham Championship, Barnes by one shot, Duval by six.

Then there is the curious case of Adam Scott, who has been unable to stem his free fall. Scott, too, will miss the cut, by three strokes, despite an opening round 66 (he followed with a 75 in round two). Scott needed 66 putts over two rounds.
