A Duval County, Fla., Circuit Court judge ordered John Daly to pay nearly $272,000 in attorneys fees and court costs for the lawsuit he filed against the Florida Times-Union 2005, the Associated Press reports. The judge, Hugh Carithers, dismissed the suit in March.
