N.C. State also cracks the top 25 at No. 23. The Wolfpack are making their first ever appearance in the Golf World ranking since it was revived in 2001-02.
In the Division II poll, Florida Southern kept its spot atop women's coaches poll, earning 10 of the available 15 first-place votes after claiming the Lady Falcon Invitational title to start the 2011-12 season.
Methodist claimed all 17 first-place votes to be the unanimous choice as the No. 1 team in the Division III women's coaches' poll. The Monarchs won their season opener, the O'Brien National Invitational.
