MEN
Kevin Tway.jpegKevin Tway, Oklahoma State
The junior became the third Cowboy player (joining Peter Uihlein and Trent Whitekiller) to win an individual title during the 2009-10 season when he took medalist honors at the Puerto Rico Classic. Tway shot a final-round 66 at Rio Mar CC to finish with a 17-under 199, three strokes better than Texas’ Cody Gribble. In the six rounds he's played during the spring semester, Tway has yet to shoot worse than even par, posting a 68.5 stroke average. It was Tway’s third career college win.

WOMEN

A six-under 136 at Arizona National GC in Tucson gave the sophomore a five-stroke win in the rain-shortened Arizona Wildcat Invitational. It was Hedwall’s second victory of the spring and third in 2009-10. Her overall score was 19.56 strokes lower than the average of all players in the field.
