Jones got this note from his parents after winning the 1927 U.S. Amateur title with a 8-and-7 victory in the final over Chick Evans at Minikahda Club in Minneapolis.

Golf ball from WWII

The range of items that prisoners of war made during confinement is incredible. This golf ball was fashioned by a prisoner from leather taken from his flight jacket.
