Top Sleepers To Watch

Our bold list of 13 lesser-known PGA Tour players we expect big things from in 2013

January 2013
John Huh
A new PGA Tour season means fans will likely see more under-the-radar players taking home trophies in 2013. But that doesn't mean they have to be under your radar. For the past two years, we've highlighted some unheralded golfers -- like Robert Garrigus in 2011 and Kyle Stanley in 2012 -- who have gone on to do big things. So who will follow in John Huh's (right) footsteps and surprise on the PGA Tour this year? First, let's start with our criteria for being a "sleeper." The player cannot have won on the PGA Tour in the past two years and he must have finished outside the top 50 on last year's money list. Using that as a guideline, here are 13 true sleepers we think have the potential to make a big splash in 2013.
PGA Tour: Scott Langley

Scott Langley
The 2010 NCAA individual champion from the University of Illinois turned pro in 2011, but will be a rookie on the PGA Tour in 2013. His T-16 at the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach shows he has the game and temperament to compete on the big stage.
