October 5, 2009

Matt Kuchar (Turning Stone Resort Championship) and Lorena Ochoa (Navistar LPGA Classic) each won tour titles using drivers recently added to their bags. Kuchar put Bridgestone's J38 prototype (a 435cc version of the 460cc consumer version) in just this week, while Ochoa's Ping i15 has been in the bag since the middle of September. On the Champions Tour, Jay Haas used 14 Titleist clubs and the company's Pro V1 ball in winning his second consecutive tournament at the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship at Baltimore CC's East Course.
