9 Cool Items For Golfers At CES
The International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is billed as the largest such show in the world, featuring more than 3,200 exhibitors and an estimated 20,000 new products, ranging from wearables to ultra high-definition TVs to connected cars.
While the conference doesn't include a dedicated golf zone, the week-long event did showcase at least a few intriguing finds for golfer who look to gadgets to improve their game or to make a round more enjoyable.
Here are some products that stood out amid a sea of recently released or forthcoming gadgets at the annual tech confab.
CES featured 75 Ultra HD-related announcements. Samsung's 105-inch Curved Ultra HD TV is simply breathtaking. Ultra HD TVs feature four times the pixels of 1080p sets. Samsung, which has an exclusive deal with the PGA Tour for certain content, says curved displays offer "a truly cinematic experience" with a wider field of view and panoramic effect, making the TV seem even bigger than it is. Imagine watching the Masters on this masterpiece. Keep dreaming. The price hasn't been disclosed, but the TV could cost as much as an Audi A8 ($70K+) when it's released later this year.
