Always a bridesmaid...

Norwegian superstar Suzann Pettersen woke up to a new position in the Rolex World Ranking Monday: she's now the no. 2 female player in the world. But while second place might be a novelty for Pettersen on the big list, it's probably getting really old week to week.

Pettersen's 16-under-par 272 at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico, earned the blonde bomber her sixth second-place finish of the season and her 12th in three years. During the same span, she has only managed one win, at the 2009 CN Canadian Women's Open. Frustrating? Judging from her Twitter account, it seems so:

Pettersen has one opportunity left this season to find that "sweet revenge": the LPGA Tour Championship in two weeks. The world will be waiting.
