October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as usual, the golf industry is doing what it can to help support the cause. Pink golf gear is popular year-round, but the products in this slideshow offer something special: portions of the proceeds of their sale are donated to charities such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

This is also a great time to remind women golfers across the country that hosting a Rally for the Cure at your home course is one of the most rewarding and impactful ways to help raise awareness and funds for the battle against breast cancer. Over 3,200 Rally events were held in 2011, and the goal for 2012 is to reach 200,000 participants. For more info, go to rallyforthecure.com
