CONSTRUCTION: Two-piece

TECH STORY: The rubber-core compound is soft (60 compression) yet resilient and is designed to achieve ball speeds typically found in higher-compression balls. The dimple design promotes carry distance for lower spin rates.

VERDICT: Any company paying attention to dimple design is a step ahead in this category.

TECH STORY: A large-diameter (1.59 inches), low-density core combines with a 252-dimple pattern to help launch the ball high and keep it in the air longer. The soft Surlyn cover is designed to provide more spin.
