CHANGE IS GOOD
- Cosmetics are important. That's why I've always played traditional-looking golf clubs. Before I made the switch to TaylorMade this year, I went to the company's test center in December and hit balls to find out which clubs I liked. At our level, it can't be about the money. It has to be about the quality of the company's technology.

KNEE KNOCKERS
- The most intimidating hole on the PGA Tour is the par-3 12th at Augusta National. It's a small target, and the winds are usually swirling. When you consider a green jacket might be on the line, a lot comes into play for that shot.

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF GOLF
- If I could play only one course for the rest of my life, I don't think I'd bother to continue playing. The fact that we don't play on a standardized field is one of the most unusual aspects of our sport. I really enjoy playing different types of courses that require different types of shots

GIVING BACK
- I started the David Toms Foundation in January 2003. So far we've given more than $3 million to charities, including $1.6 million in Katrina relief. If we can get a family off the street, get a child away from an abusive home or learning life skills, then we're creating hope and making a difference in the community.
