Oddsmakers are begging you to bet on Tiger Woods at Torrey Pines this week

February 02, 2015

Are you a believer that Tiger Woods will turn around his game this week and take home the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines? If so, the odds are in your favor!

After his worst round as a professional last week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, an 11-over-par 82, Tiger has been listed at 50-to-1 odds to win at Torrey Pines. That's the same venue he has won eight times as a pro.

In fact, there's even a proposition bet you can make on whether Tiger will make the cut, which is amazing in its own right:

The 50-to-1 odds are the highest odds ever posted for Tiger to win an event since he's turned pro, according to Jeff Sherman (@GolfOdds on Twitter) of the WestGate Las Vegas SportsBook. It's not necessarily surprising, coming off the worst showing of his pro career. But then again, the days of him being listed at less than 5-to-1 to win any time he teed it up seem like they were forever ago. It's also easy to forget he won five times two seasons ago.

Still, you can get odds on Tiger to win the Masters at 20-to-1. So if you have a couple extra dollars in your pocket you can get some of the best odds in history on Tiger.
