Watch Judge Judy tackle one of the thorniest golf issues of our time

If I'm on the course and hook my golf ball off the course, through a nearby road and through somebody else's window, am I responsible for the damages?

That question still occurs to golfers every time they see their ball sailing off the course, but no one seems to ever know the answer.

Enter Judge Judy.

"This is where they're allowed to park," Judge Judy said. "You didn't intend that, but it's your accident."

If it was any consolation, though, Judge Judy did suggest that the golfer could potentially sue the course for not having a net or fence preventing the situation in the first place.
