On the second hole of the PGA Championship at Valhalla G.C., Bubba Watson went toe-to-toe with a bush -- and the bush won.
Bubba found himself in this situation when he pulled his drive into the trees right of the 500-yard par 4. After a few minutes of deliberation with his caddie, the two-time Masters champion threw caution to the wind and managed to advance the ball forward a few yards.
But his ball still didn't make it back into the fairway. So, Bubba stepped-up once again and knocked it forward a few more yards, this time into the short stuff.
From the fairway, Bubba spun his fourth shot from 169 yards back to about seven feet. Considering how his first three shots on the hole turned out, it was actually a great show of composure.
Bubba would make that bogey putt and moved back to even on the day after a birdie a hole before.
