Pro golfers everywhere got pretty amped about the USA-Belgium game

July 1, 2014 might arguably be the biggest day in U.S. soccer history.

The U.S. men's team plays Belgium in the first knockout round of the 2014 World Cup. Belgium has a team filled with some of the best young players on the planet and is a big favorite. But that's not dampening Americans World Cup fever -- on the contrary. Many professional golfers have been spending the day offering words of support to their fellow professional athletes.

Then the game started, and everyone stayed excited. They were especially pleased with America's goalkeeper Tim Howard.

Then, after the Belgium scored two goals, the U.S. clawed one back and looked -- just for a second -- that America were mounting a comeback.

But then it didn't, and exactly one person was happy about it. Yes, he was Belgian.
