Even if Sorenstam wasn't trying to set a record during the second round of the LPGA's Standard Register Ping on March 16, 2001, she blew one away when she made 13 birdies and no bogeys, needing just 25 putts at Moon Valley CC in Phoenix to break the LPGA's all-time mark for low 18-hole score by two strokes.

Six men (Al Geiberger, Chip Beck, David Duval, Paul Goydos, Stuart Appleby and Jim Furyk) have shot 59s in PGA Tour events, but to date not other woman has broken the infamous 60 mark on the LPGA Tour. *__
