Here's a picture of Bethpage Black totally covered in snow (as if it wasn't tough enough already)

January 08, 2014

There's a picture of Bethpage State Park making the rounds on Reddit that should strike fear deep into your heart.

Bethpage Black, host of two U.S. Opens and a course we ranked as the fifth toughest in America, was just another victim to the snow storm that rolled through the Northeast late last week. A.J. Voelpel snapped the picture below when Black was completely covered last week. But the snow is all gone now, according to an employee at the course, who confirmed that it disappeared after the rain on Monday.

On a side note, at least we have a new idea about how to spice-up the 2019 PGA Championship, which Bethpage Black is due to host.
