Bill Clinton and Rory McIlroy play golf together in Ireland

October 10, 2013

In an apparent shot at President Obama for his recent round with Tiger Woods (just kidding), former President Bill Clinton played golf with former World No. 1 Rory McIlory in Ireland on Thursday.

Clinton, who remains a popular figure in the country for his role in the peace negotiations between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, has been touring the island speaking at a series of philanthropic events and universities.

But after eating dinner with McIlroy and Bono the night before, Clinton managed to squeeze in a round of golf and visit McIlroy's Rory Foundation. Clinton is now the second U.S. President to rub elbows with McIlroy, who visited the White House in March last year in honor of British Prime Minister David Cameron's visit.
