In the 2003 PGA Championship, Tim Clark played well, finishing two back of winner Shaun Micheel. But ten years on, it's a different story for Clark -- but it's not all bad news.
Clark was sitting way back after a Saturday 74 , and after making a double bogey on 10 following his two-over 37 on the front, he was probably pretty irritated going into Oak Hill's beastly par-3. But he didn't seem to dwell on it for too long -- taking dead-aim at the tucked pin and knocking it in the hole for the first ace of the tournament.
Incidentally, the ace, glorious though it was for Clark, seemed to proved a bigger boost for his playing partner Miguel Angel Jimenez, who made five consecutive birdies after the 11th hole. Clark went on to shoot 75, leaving him ten over for the tournament.
