7 golf moments made better by this perfect Jason Dufner GIF

By Luke Kerr-Dineen

Earlier this summer, Jason Dufner was featured in a new commercial that's pretty funny. The ad is for PGA Pro Series Apparel and features both "fashion icon" Jason Dufner and wife Amanda, who are each fawned over as if they were walking down the red carpet. At one point, Jason even blows a kiss into the camera.

Recognizing a good GIF opportunity when we see one, especially one involving the man who practically made "Dufnering" a national past time, we plugged our latest find into a handful of notable golf moments and discovered that it made them all so much better. In honor of the upcoming PGA Championship, we'll start with David Toms' hole-in-one in 2001, which now comes with a little sugar from The Duf:

But not everyone is please when Dufner sends some love their way. Ian Poulter, for instance, is having none of it.

Sometimes a little love from Dufner can be pretty inspirational. Just ask Tiger: It's probably the reason he made this long birdie putt on the first playoff hole against Bob May in the 2000 PGA.

Although a few years later, at the 2004 Ryder Cup, Tiger seemed pretty perplexed when Dufner reemerged.

But no matter. At Merion this year, Phil Mickelson may have lost the tournament, but he seemed pretty happy about Dufner's involvement here:

The "Dufner Treatment" isn't always just directed towards one person, though. Sometimes he dazzles a whole group of professional golfers.

And ending with a throwback: Dufner inserted himself into the 1971 U.S. Open playoff between Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino. By our math, he was minus six-years-old, so he's aged pretty well.
