TaylorMade has a new driver on the USGA Conforming List this morning. It's called SLDR, appears to be 460 cubic centimeters and has a sliding movable weight in the sole. In addition, based on the photo included in the entry on the USGA website, both the toe and hosel areas do not appear to be white, a color that has been a distinction of four of the last five TaylorMade driver introductions (the recently launched R1 Black is the lone exception since 2011). The hosel also appears adjustable, and under the heading lofts, the entry on the USGA list reads "N/A." It's not a stretch to say the club may be played this week at the John Deere Classic and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.
