GIF: Ian Poulter goes all Ryder Cup on the British Open

On a day when the leaders' play has remained largely stagnant, Ian Poulter has decided to go on a tear in the final round at Muirfield.
After playing the first eight holes even, he eagled the 9th and made birdies on 10, 11 and 12 to get within two shots of the lead. Things cooled off a bit, but he still finished with a four-under 67, playing his way into contention despite starting the day eight back.
At the start of the week, Poulter made news for ditching the putter he used during the Ryder Cup and soliciting newer models on Twitter. He put an Odyssey Damascus putter in the bag, which was probably a good move.
