In just 16 starts since enrolling at Alabama in the fall of 2010, sophomore Stephanie Meadow has won five tournaments, had eight top-five finishes and posted a 72.35 stroke average. Her last win came last weekend at the inaugural Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club, where she experienced a homecoming of sorts. The native of Northern Ireland attended the International Junior Golf Academy in high school on Hilton Head Island before going to Tuscaloosa.

Meadow joins me on this week's podcast, where she discusses her college success and how the Crimson Tide's disappointing team finish at last year's NCAA Championship has helped serve as motivation this season. She also talks about the potential of facing her college teammate Brooke Pancake at this summer's Curtis Cup and just what Alabama coach Mic Potter has suggested the pair should do to see which player he will "root for" during the matches.
