Dawg's Crossover a hybrid golf shoe

July 05, 2011

Fred Couples, trendsetter? So it seems. When Couples wore the Ecco Golf Street Premier shoe (sans socks) at the Masters in 2010, he brought wide attention to the shoes, designed to be worn comfortably on or off the course.

Others followed suit, including Dawg Golf, which now has what it calls the Crossover. Shown here is the women's Crossover in black and pink.

The Crossover features a canvas upper and a rubber sole with nubs and, in keeping with Dawg Golf's mission, is lightweight. The company bills it as "the most comfortable canvas shoe on the market."

The Crossover has an MSRP of $50.
