Sun Mountain: A carry bag easier to carry

April 19, 2011

Sun Mountain has taken the hip belt from its Zero-G golf bag and added it to its Swift Z carry bag, in effect making a bag that already is a lightweight into one even easier to carry.

Or, as a news release says, "Featherweight champion gets a belt."

The adjustable hip belt on the Swift ZG, which closes with velcro, effectively disperses the weight, moving much of the load from the shoulders to the hips, creating a bag that, though obviously not weightless, is said to seem as though it is. With the hips bearing the weight, the golfer can walk virtually upright, diminishing upper-body fatigue.

The Swift ZG bag has a suggested retail price of $199.
