Tiger: Despite split, Hank is still my friend

If you were looking for evidence of acrimony between Tiger Wood and Hank Haney in the wake of Haney's resignation as Woods' swing coach late Monday night, then you're likely to be disappointed by the following gracious statement on Woods' website Tuesday:

"Hank Haney and I have agreed that he will no longer be my coach. Hank is an outstanding teacher and has been a great help to me, but equally importantly he is a friend. That will not change.

"I would like to thank him for all he has done for me the past six years."
