Professional athletes often are disconnected from reality, which Anthony Kim so ably demonstrated during his news conference for the defending champion of the Quail Hollow Championship, as reported here by Geoff Shackelford.

The key quote, following a question on how the recession is manifesting itself in professional golf circles: "I'm not that smart, so I just let my business people take care of whatever business needs to be taken care of. I know that at one of the tournaments this year we didn't have courtesy cars, and I'm sure that will be the case, because from what I hear from people a lot smarter than me, the car industry is really having a tough time right now."
